Sizing Guide

How to measure your dog and make sure you order the correct size collar

Our collars are sized to fit your dog's neck. Sizing is NOT based on the total length of the collar when laid flat.

Collars have a total of 5 sizing holes that are spaced 1/2" apart.

Please be aware that the wider a collar is, the more space on the dog's neck it takes up, which can cause a wider collar to seem tighter. It is very important to measure your dog taking the width of the collar into account. It is often best to measure the middle of the neck halfway between the head and the shoulder, but this varies by breed and closure type.

Sizing varies for closure type - martingales and limited slip collars require your dog's head measurement as these closure types do not open and are not adjustable, they must be able to slip over your dogs head. Selecting too large a size will allow the collar to slip over your dogs head even when the strap is pulled, and could allow your dog to escape it's collar. It is very important to properly measure your dog.
